Program Description
The Center Jr. Cougars value excellence in attitude, athletics, and academics.
In recognizing both athletic and academic achievement, we would like this
program to honor our football players and cheerleaders.
To be eligible, the applicants must maintain a 3.0 grade point average during
the quarter in which they participate in the CJC program.
Applications will be due by October 18, 2008. They are to be turned in to your
head coach any time up to the end of practice that day.
NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Application Instructions
- Applications must be bound securely, (no 3 ring binders). The applicant's
name and division must be printed clearly, neatly, and visibly on the front
page, along with their picture. - A one page essay, written by the applicant describing themselves, their
goals, their academic and public achievements. - Completed Academic Achievement Award Application.
- A letter of recommendation from the applicant's teacher depicting their
academic and citizenship excellence.
Gold Medal = 3.76 - 4.0
Silver Medal = 3.5 - 3.75
Bronze Medal = 3.0 - 3.49
Silver Medal = 3.5 - 3.75
