Coach Expectations

Center/Antelope Jr. Cougars football and cheer coaches are expected to maintain a level of
commitment that goes above a commitment to just the team that they coach. Coaches
should be individuals who care about CAJC as a whole and are willing to give the time and
effort required to make this a successful organization for the kids of the Antelope community.

It is the expectation of CAJC that it's coaches participate in a variety of league/ team
functions. To include but not limited to...coaches meetings and clinics, registration
events and fund raising events.

Coaches are required to attend the CAJC Camp in August.

Coaches are expected not only to make sure players receive the proper equipment
but also make sure all equipment is turned in at the end of the season.

Coaches are expected to keep practice fields clean and maintained.

Coaches are expected to be at the playing field two (2) hours before their game
time, with the exception of the Jr. Pee Wees.

Coaches are expected to remain after their game to make sure the sidelines are
clean and ready for the next team.

Coaches are expected to keep an open line of communication with parents and the
Football/Cheer Director.

Coaches are expected to provide updated player rosters to the Football/Cheer
Director.

Coaches are expected to be available to assist at all other CAJC events.

CAJC believes in a positive coaching philosophy. Coaches are expected to adhere
to the same philosophy.

CAJC football coaches are expected to run and practice predetermined offensive
and defensive schemes set by CAJC.
